Church of Santa Trinità
Originally, the Church of Santa Trinita was a Romanic building but it was rebuilt in Gothic style with a mannerist façade.
Among the most important works of art in the Church, there are some frescos which represent the life of San Francesco d`Assisi; they were painted by Domenico Ghirlandaio in the Sassetti Chapel.
The altar-piece of the "Annunciazione" in the fourth chapel of the side aisle was made by Lorenzo Monaco, master of Fra` Angelico. He also painted the frescos in this chapel.
