The Characteristic District of Oltrarno in Florence

The district of Oltrarno extends on the left bank of the Arno river. The Oltrarno is the Florence of the old trades and traditions. The best way to explore it is walking around and discover not just the craftman workshops, the markets and the typical trattorias but also the beauty of the churches, the squares, the monuments and the museums.
