But Florence, Prato and their hinterlands have always been a land of prestigious fashion designers: just think about Cavalli, Coveri, Ferragamo, Gucci... (in strict alphabetical order).

Dedicated to men`s wear, Pitti Immagine Uomo is held twice a year, as well as Pitti W Woman Pre-Collection, which focuses instead on women`s wear. Then there are Pitti Immagine Bimbo, Fragranze, Mare d`Amare, Vintage Selection...

All of the exhibitions are held at the Fortezza da Basso, one of the two castles in Florence, and Stazione Leopolda, the first Florentine railway station. But the whole town is invaded with fashion operators, VIPs and tourists coming from all over the world.
