The villa (10 beds) stands in panoramic position on a hillside in the Crete senesi district and offers a breathtaking view of Siena and of the lunar landscape of the white clay hills south of the city of the Palio. Surrounded by a wide secular park, the building dates back to the 18th century and is decorated with charming frescoes and trompe l`oeil paintings. The rooms are furnished in a mix of period and modern style and are embellished with particular details, such as the fresco by Dario Neri representing the Canticle of the Sun, which decorates the walls of one of the bedrooms, or the magnificent Murano glass chandelier in a second bedroom. The villa is provided with all modern comforts (washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, iron and ironing board). Guests are granted the exclusive use of the swimming pool, situated in an olive grove in front of the building, provided with sunloungers, tables and chairs for lying in the Tuscan sun; next to the swimming pool there is a changing room with shower. The garden is furnished with tables and chairs for having meals outdoor. Situated in the heart of the Crete senesi district, the villa is an excellent departing point for trips to famous towns of history, culture and art, such as Asciano, San Galgano, Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Colle Val d`Elsa, Volterra, San Gimignano and, obviously, Siena.
