Description

The villa built in the early 20th century is situated in Val d`Orcia, in Castiglione d`Orcia (Siena). Immersed in the wonderful landscape of southern Tuscany, the villa overlooks Rocca d`Orcia, Campiglia d`Orcia and Radicofani; mount Amiata is to be seen in the distance. Renting the elegant holiday villa could prove to be the ideal solution for the art lovers who would like to visit Montalcino, Siena, Pienza, Montpulciano, San Quirico d`Orcia and other more-or-less renowned Tuscan towns and villages. Trekking lovers can dedicate to their favourite sport on mount Amiata, whereas those who want to relax and dedicate to their well-being can visit the thermal baths in Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo.

In the 6,500-square-metre that surrounds the two-storey building there are some children`s toys, a gazebo furnished with tables and benches, a barbecue and the private swimming pool (7.50x15 m; depth: 1.35-1.45 m), which commands the surrounding countryside and is equipped with wrought-iron sun loungers, deck chairs, chairs and sunshades. A high hedge surrounds the whole estate.


Accommodation

The villa is divided into four apartments furnished in the traditional Tuscan rustic style and with antique furniture; it sleeps 19+2 people in 3 triple bedrooms, 5 double bedrooms and 2 single pouf beds, and has 7 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

On the ground floor there are a large common room with kitchenette, table sitting 21, fireplace and direct access to the garden, and two apartments, one of which is accessible to people with disabilities. The other apartments are on the first floor.

The apartments come with independent heating system, well-equipped kitchen and satellite TV.

The triple bedrooms are furnished with a double and a single bed. In two of the rooms the single bed is in the loft.

Two single pouf beds can be added in any of the bedrooms.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, swings, table-tennis table, table-football table, slide, barbecue, Internet connection, working fireplace, satellite TV, fridge, freezer, American-style coffee maker, electric oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and private car parking place.
Some cot beds are supplied upon request.
Some bicycles are at guests` disposal.

Shops and services of any kind are in Campiglia d`Orcia, 6 kilometres from the villa.
A restaurant is 3 kilometres from the estate.
Bagni San Filippo is 6 kilometres from the villa, whereas Bagno Vignoni is 9 kilometres away.
