Location

The small villa stands in panoramic position in Valdichiana, a south-eastern region of Tuscany stretching between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo, renowned worldwide mainly for its food specialties: Chianina meat, pecorino cheese and Sinalunga cured meats.

Already inhabited in Etruscan times and then ruled the Romans, Valdichiana is a region rich in wonderful landscapes, medieval towns and churches and nature reserves, including the Natural Reserve of the Lake of Chiusi.

This region, in which some of the most famous Italian wines - such as the Vino Nobile, the Rosso di Montepulciano and the Chianti Colli Aretini - are produced, is renowned also for the thermal towns of San Casciano dei Bagni e Chianciano Terme.

Description

Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding: that is the wonderful panorama the windows and the garden of the villa, situated a few dozen kilometres from Chianciano Terme, Cortona and Montepulciano, overlook.
Thanks to its geographic position, the property is an excellent solution for those who want to take advantage of a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside for visiting some of the most important cities of art in central Italy, such as Siena, Arezzo, Pienza, Perugia, Montalcino and Todi. The Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore is within short driving distance as well. Sporty guests can visit the riding stable and the tennis club a few kilometres from the estate.

The villa is also the ideal lodging for families with small children: the fully fenced garden that surrounds the house features a children's playground equipped with a slide, a garden swing and a playhouse.
The private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.40 m) lies a few metres from the building.
Guests can take advantage of the grilling equipment and organise pleasant barbecues in the porch furnished for having meals in the open air.

The two-storey building can accommodate 6+2 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, large living room with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

One of the bathrooms is equipped with a whirlpool bathtub.
