Location

The ancient mill converted into a holiday cottage is situated near Cortona, a famous fortified town in Valdichiana.

The historic centre of the town set a few kilometres from Lake Trasimeno is rich in picturesque views and interesting monuments, such as the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo in Piazza della Repubblica, Casati palace in the adjacent Piazza Signorelli, the Duomo, the Basilica of Santa Margherita and the Medicean fortress.


Description

A fully fenced garden with the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.30-1.70 m) stretches around the villa.
An outdoor area is furnished with a table and some chairs for dining al fresco.
The washing machine is in an outdoor laundry area.

The villa is an excellent departure point for visiting all of the most famous tourist destinations in Valdichiana and south-eastern Tuscany, including Arezzo, Castiglion Fiorentino, Caprese Michelangelo, Anghiari and Sansepolcro. Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Volterra and Colle Val d'Elsa are within easy driving distance.
An outlet village selling high fashion items at keen prices is a few kilometres from the property.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 4 guests in 2 double bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, dining area with fireplace, living room with access to the outdoor and a bathroom with shower.
The night area on the first floor composes of a double bedroom with a private bathroom and a not completely closed double bedroom (minimum height: 1.20 m).

One of the bedrooms is accessed from the dining area and the other from the living room.

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue, satellite TV, fireplace, Internet connection, freezer, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking space.
A domestic help is available upon request.
