Location

The villa is located in a very peaceful area in Siena countryside, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region.

Renowned all over the world for the homonymous DOCG wine produced there, the region is also rich in interesting fortified villages and ancient country churches, such as the castles of Vertine, Meleto and Volpaia, the parish church of Spaltenna and the church of San Niccolò in Radda in Chianti.

The area is also scattered with farms and wine-growers where guests can taste locally produced Chianti wine, extra-virgin olive oil and excellent cheeses.


Description

The traditional Tuscan country house is part of a 220-hectare property set in scenery location near Siena and a few dozen kilometres from Florence. Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa, Arezzo, Montalcino, Montepulciano and other Tuscan towns of historic and artistic interest are within easy driving distance.

A wide garden with the private swimming pool (5.5x11 m; maximum depth: 2 m) surrounds the house.

The living room on the ground floor has a direct access to a covered terrace furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste wines and to purchase the olive oil and wine produced in the farm.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building divided into two independent apartments connected by a small door on the ground floor and an internal stair. It can accommodate 16 guests in 3 twin bedrooms and 5 double bedrooms, and has 7 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of the kitchen corner, living room with dining area, laundry room, two double bedrooms with private bathroom with bathtub and a twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower.
On the first floor there are a large kitchen with dining room, a TV room, two living rooms with fireplace, two twin bedrooms, three double bedrooms and four bathrooms (one with a washing machine).

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue, fireplace, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Internet connection, microwave oven, oven, freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cot bed and private car parking space.
A domestic help is supplied upon request.
Wine tasting events are organised upon request.
The wine and olive oil produced in the farm are available for guests to purchase.

Shops and services of any kind are 7 kilometres from the villa.
