Description

The ancient hamlet situated in Valdichiana opens onto the hills of eastern Tuscany and on Arezzo, the town of gold and of the Giostra del Saracino (Saracen Joust). Valdichiana stretches in the provinces of Arezzo and Siena and is a region rich in wonderful landscapes and medieval towns; it is particularly renowned for the chianina meat.
The complex consisting of two peasant houses and a church that houses a museum stands on a hill in the countryside around Arezzo from which scholars think Leonardo da Vinci surveyed the valley below. One of the buildings is at guests' disposal, whereas the second house is occasionally occupied by the owners.
Staying at the villa, guests will have the opportunity to visit Arezzo, Siena, Florence as well as other tourist destinations in eastern Tuscany, such as Cortona, Caprese Michelangelo, Anghiari and Sansepolcro, all of which are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips. Sporty guests can visit the tennis club and the riding stable within a few kilometres of the estate.

In the garden that surrounds the building are a table for having meals al fresco, the barbecue equipment and the private swimming pool (8x16 m; depth: 1.20-3.00 m) with whirlpool corner. The swimming pool overlooking Valdichiana countryside and the town of Arezzo is at guests' disposal. Occasionally they could have to share it with the owners.
