Location

The windows of the villa situated in panoramic position open onto the hills of Valdelsa, a region that stretches right in the heart of Tuscany. The villa is located in Montaione, in the province of Florence.

Staying at the villa guests will have the opportunity to visit Certaldo, Giovanni Boccaccio`s home town, where every year in July is held an international festival of street art called Mercantia; Vinci, which gave birth to the famous Leonardo; San Gimignano, with its towers; Volterra, the town of alabaster.

A few kilometres from the villa is also Gambassi Terme, with its spas.


Description

The complex is surrounded by about 5 hectares of land. The nearest part to the buildings is divided into a pinewood and a botanic garden, scattered with many paths for guests to have pleasant walks in the Tuscan countryside. The estate includes also a large olive grove.

The private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 0.80-2.00 m), some children`s toys, a barbecue area, a table-tennis table and some tables for having meal in the open air are at guests` disposal in the wide park.


Accommodation

The complex composes of three apartments and two independent cottages; it can accommodate 17+2 guests in 5 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 quadruple bedroom and 1 double sofa bed, and has 5 bathrooms.

In detail it composes of five kitchens, two living rooms (one with double sofa bed), five double bedrooms, a quadruple bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and four bathrooms with shower (one with whirlpool shower).

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue, slide, swing, table-tennis table, working fireplace, satellite TV, Internet connection, whirlpool shower, electric oven, toaster, American-style coffee maker, espresso coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, cot beds and private car parking space.
Tuscan cooking and Italian language lessons are organized upon request.
A maid service is supplied upon request.
