Location

The olive groves of Livorno countryside surround the beautiful apartment situated in Val di Cecina, in central-western Tuscany.

Val di Cecina is the region of the Cecina River, to whom it owes its name. Its varied landscape is made of almost inaccessible peaks that alternate with steep gullies - the so-called Balze di Volterra - and gentle hills sloping towards the plain near the mouth of the Cecina River.

Volterra, with its Etruscan finds, Roman remains, medieval buildings and craftsmen working alabaster, is the most important town of this valley rich in forests, wide meadows and small historical towns and hamlets, such as Montecatini in Val di Cecina, Bibbona and Guardistallo.


Description

The recently renovated apartment is on the ground floor of a country house just a few kilometres from the sea. Donoratico, Cecina, Bibbona and San Vincenzo, as well as Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, are within short driving distance. In San Vincenzo there are also some thermal baths.

The house is surrounded by a garden with the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.60 m), which is exclusively reserved to guests. The swimming pool is equipped with a solar heating system. An outdoor shower is next to the pool side.
The apartment features a private external space furnished for guests to have meals in the open air, which affords a beautiful view of the Tuscan coast, and the barbecue equipment.

In case of need, guests can contact the owners of the apartment, who live nearby.

The apartment can accommodate 7 guests in 1 triple bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom, and has 2 bathrooms.

It composes of kitchen, living room with dining area, a triple bedroom, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and two bathrooms with shower.

The living room has a direct access to the garden.
