Location

The villa is in the Chianti Classico region, an area stretching between Florence and Siena worldwide renowned for the production of the homonymous red wine DOCG.

The gentle rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves are dotted with ancient castles and charming medieval churches. The Castle of Volpaia and the Church of San Niccolò in Radda in Chianti and the Castles of Meleto and Vertine and the Pieve di Spaltenna in Gaiole in Chianti are worth a visit, as well asthe Etruscan tombs of Montecalvario near Castellina in Chianti.

Many wine shops and wineries offer the opportunity to taste glasses of Chianti DOCG wine as well as the locally produced cured meats and cheeses.


Description

The beautiful stone villa is just a few kilometres from Gaiole in Chianti and is conveniently located for visiting many important Tuscan cities of art, including Siena, Florence, Pisa, Montalcino, Montepulciano and the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia regions.

The villa affords breathtaking views of the surrounding woodland and vineyards and is an excellent solution for those who want to have pleasant holidays in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.

A wide garden surrounds the house.
The large paved solarium area is equipped with a gazebo with table and chairs and some deck chairs, whereas a terrace is furnished with table and chairs for having meals in the open air.
The private swimming pool (7x3.5 m; depth: 1.40 m) overlooks the valley below and can be heated upon request.
A Finnish sauna is in the garden.

Well-being itineraries with chromotherapy, massages, winetherapy and hydromassage are organised in the property upon request.


Accommodation

The three-storey building can accommodate 8 guests in 1 twin bedroom and 3 double bedrooms, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, two living rooms (one with a dining area and one with a fireplace), a twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower, and on the second floor is a double bedroom with private bathroom with whirlpool bathtub.

The bedroom on the first floor has an access to the panoramic terrace.
