Location

The beautiful villa is located near Subbiano, in Casentino, a few kilometres from Arezzo.

Situated at the intersection of Valdarno, Casentino and Valdichiana, Arezzo is a town rich in interesting monuments, including the cathedral of Santi Pietro e Donato, the pieve of Santa Maria and the basilica of San Francesco, whose chapel is decorated with the "Legend of the True Cross", a famous cycle of frescoes that Piero della Francesca painted in the second half of the 15th century.

Arezzo was also the hometown of the great Italian poet Francesco Petrarca (known in English as Petrarch).


Description

The villa is part of a cluster of buildings dating back to the 12th century and is surrounded by a wide fully fenced garden. A masonry barbecue and a hammock are at guests' disposal.
The private swimming pool (12x8 m; depth: 1.50 m) is equipped with parasols and sun shades.

The villa is an excellent departure point for visiting Poppi, Anghiari, Monterchi, Cortona, Arezzo, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangelo, Florence, Siena and the Chianti region.

The apartment is on the first floor and can accommodate 4 guests in 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom, and has 1 bathroom.
