Villas at the Sea

The villa stands on a hill in Scarlino, in the province of Grosseto. The villa is just a few kilometres from the celebrated beaches of the Tuscan Maremma and from the pinewoods of Follonica and offers a magnificent view of the gulf of Follonica.

Just a few kilometres from the villa are the seaside resorts of Calaviolina (one of the most beautiful Italian beaches), Punta Ala, Baratti and Castiglione della Pescaia and the Etruscan towns of Sorano, Pitigliano and Massa Marittima. The villa is an excellent starting point for excursions to Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano and Siena and for trips to the islands of Giglio and Elba.

Many feasts dedicated to sausages, salami, cheeses, cakes, sweets and other Maremma culinary specialities are organized in the neighbourhood of the villa in the course of the year.

A completely fenced garden surrounds the building. Here are the barbecue equipment and the swimming pool (16x6 m; maximum depth 2.30 m), provided with underwater and night lighting and springboard. The pool side is furnished with sunloungers, a wooden shelter and a hot-water shower.

The three-storey building (3 double bedrooms, 3 triple bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed and 4 bathrooms) is provided with air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet connection, CD player, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, iron, hair dryer and car park.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, wide living room with dining area and double sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 triple bedroom and 2 bathrooms (one with whirlpool bathtub).
On the first floor, which is reached through a winding staircase or from the garden, are 2 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom and 1 bathroom.
A winding staircase leads to the second floor, composed of an open space with a double and a single bed and air conditioning and 1 bathroom with bathtub.
