The farmhouse (8 sleeping accommodations) stands in a picturesque village called San Giovanni d`Asso, in the Crete Senesi district, south of Siena. San Giovanni d`Asso is renowned for its 12th-century church and for its imposing castle. In the neighbourhood of the farmhouse there are also San Quirico d`Orcia, the abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore and the spa resorts in Bagno Vignoni. Important tourist destinations, such as Pienza, the Renaissance town par excellence, Montalcino and Siena, the town of the Palio, lie within easy car distance. Possibility of hiking in the Ragnaia forest.
The estate is immersed in the green Tuscan countryside and is surrounded by a completely fenced garden, where the private swimming pool lies, equipped with sunloungers and sunshades. The building has been recently renovated and the rooms are furnished in rustic style.
The farmhouse (1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 triple bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms) is divided into two apartments spreading out over two floors, but is rented as a unit. Both apartments dispose of kitchenette and satellite TV; one of them features also a fireplace. Outside there are two gazebos with table and chairs for eating al fresco.
