Farmhouses

The 12th-century farmhouse (12 sleeping accommodations) stands on a green hill in Florentine Chianti near Mercatale Val di Pesa, just a few kilometres from Florence historical centre. Siena, San Gimignano and other important Tuscan cities of art are easily reached by car for wonderful one-day trips. Originally, the building was a sighting tower and nowadays still gives a charming view of the surrounding countryside. Sporty guests can visit the tennis club, the golf club, the riding stables and the gym in the vicinity.

The farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, where lay the swimming pool and a whirlpool bathtub. The paved farmyard is furnished for eating al fresco.

The three-storey building (6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms) is provided with all comforts (working fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, Internet connection, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, iron, cot bed and car park). Chef and maid service are supplied upon request. Animals are admitted.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, dining room, large living room with wood-burning stove, 1 double-bedded room and 1 bathroom with shower. On the ground floor is also a mini apartment communicating with the main one but provided with independent entrance. The apartment composes of kitchen/dining area, bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are a kitchenette with dining area, a large living room with fireplace, 2 twin-bedded rooms, 1 double-bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 bathroom with bathtub.
The second floor "Torre" consists in a large double-bedded room with bathroom with bathtub.
