Description

The farmhouse stands on the gentle Tuscan hills in the province of Siena, just a few kilometres from Casole d`Elsa, in Valdelsa, in the village of Monteguidi. Divided into four apartments with independent entrance, beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors, the farmhouse is immersed in the typical Tuscan rural landscape, made of vineyards and woods, for peaceful holidays in the utmost privacy. Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, the Chianti hills, Colle Val d`Elsa, Florence and other renowned Tuscan cities of art and culture are within easy car reach.

Around the house stretches a wide courtyard that, as the swimming pool, is exclusively reserved to guests.

The private swimming pool (8x10 m; depth: 1.80 m) lies on a terrace situated on a lower level than the house, about 10 metres from the building, is furnished with deck chairs and sunshades, and is open from June to September.

The farmhouse has also a patio equipped with the barbecue equipment and furnished for having meals al fresco.


Accommodation

The two-storey building is divided into four independent apartments and in total it sleeps 14+2 people in 7 double-bedded rooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 5 bathrooms.

Apartment Riccio (ground floor): bedsit with kitchenette and a double bed, and a bathroom.

Apartment Ginestra (ground floor): is divided into living room, kitchen, two double-bedded rooms (one is accessible to disabled people) and two bathrooms.
A supplementary single may be added in one of the bedrooms.

Apartment Daino (first floor): composes of kitchen/living room with fireplace, two double-bedded rooms and a bathroom.

Apartment Lavanda (first floor): consists a in kitchen/living room with fireplace, two double-bedded rooms and a bathroom.
A supplementary single may be added in one of the bedrooms.


Facilities and Services

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, table-tennis table, barbecue, working fireplaces, washing machine, microwave oven, hair dryer and private car parking place.
The household linen is changed every week.
A shuttle service, a maid service and a person who can do the shopping or act as a guide are available upon request.

Within 5 kilometres is a restaurant with special prices for the guests of the farmhouse.
Shops and services of any kind are in Casole d`Elsa (15 km) and Colle Val d`Elsa (25 km).
