The farmhouse (4+1 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position on a hill between the valleys of the rivers Merse and Ombrone, in Maremma, at the border between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena. A 60-hectare forest inhabited by a varied wildlife surrounds the building.
About 1 kilometres from the farmhouse are Petriolo`s spas. Dating back to the 13th century, these establishments are well renowned for their hot and highly therapeutic waters. In the past, important personalities of Tuscan political and cultural life, including numerous members of the Gonzaga and Medici families and Pope Pius II, attended Petriolo`s thermal baths.
The building opens onto a magnificent panorama made of olive groves and country houses, at the background of which rise the village of Pari and the mount Amiata. In the wide lawn in front of the building are a shed with table and chairs, a porch with oven, table and chairs and a brick barbecue.
The comfortable structure (equipped with fireplace, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric oven, satellite TV with SKY decoder for watching free channels - possibility of using the guests` own card - and iron) composes of two units. In case of need, guests can contact two people living nearby.
The rented apartment (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) is on the first floor, whereas on the ground floor are some store rooms and the laundry room. The apartment consists in a loggia-entryway, a large and fully equipped kitchen, a wide living room with fireplace, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded bedroom, 1 bathroom with washing-basin, WC and bidet and 1 bathroom with shower. Possibility of adding a single bed in one of the bedrooms.
