Surrounded by a wide park of about 25,000 mē and 3 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and orchards, the farmhouse (16+3 sleeping accommodations) is situated in Empoli countryside, only a few hundreds metres from Montaione, in the province of Florence. Thanks to its favourable position right at the centre of Empoli plain, the structure is an excellent starting point for trips to the most famous Tuscan cities of art (Florence, Lucca, Siena and Pisa) and to Volterra, Colle Val d`Elsa and San Gimignano, small towns rich in art and history. The seaside resorts along the Tyrrhenian Sea are within an hour by car.
The farmhouse has been recently renovated and is provided with all comforts (satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, stereo system with CD player and DVD player). Divided into three independent apartments, it presents some elements typical of the Tuscan country residences: beamed ceilings, elegant brick arches and terracotta-tiled floors. Opposite the building there is a large farmyard furnished with table and chairs for wonderful dinners in the open air.
In the wide park there are the swimming pool (4x7 m), open from May to September, a children`s playground and a regulation-size five-a-side-football pitch. At guests` disposal: the barbecue equipment and a toddlers bed (upon request). Pets are welcome.
The Castelfalfi Golf Club, a tennis club and a riding stable stand close to the farmhouse. Numerous pathways stretch around the estate for magnificent walks and horse-rides or mountain-bike rides on the green Tuscan hills.
The farmhouse (6 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 triple bedroom, single + double sofabeds and 4 bathrooms) is divided into three independent apartments.
Apartment Il Fienile (70 mē - 4+1 sleeping accommodations - 2 double bedrooms, single sofa bed and 1 bathroom) spreads out over two storeys. On the ground floor there are the kitchen, 1 double bedroom accessible from the garden, the living/dining room with single sofa bed and 1 bathroom with shower. The first floor consists in a large double bedroom overlooking the whole estate. The apartment disposes of a fenced garden furnished with table and chairs.
Apartment Il Molino (250 mē - 10 sleeping accommodations - 3 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms) develops over three storeys. The ground floor consists in the kitchen/dining with fireplace. On the first floor there are a living room with satellite TV and fireplace, 1 bedroom with a double and a single bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub. The second floor composes of 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower.
Apartment Le Volte (60 mē - 2+2 sleeping accommodations - 1 double bedrooms, double sofa bed and 1 bathroom) is situated on the ground floor and consists in kitchen, living/dining room with satellite TV and double sofa bed, 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. The apartment has a private fenced garden furnished for eating al fresco.
