The villa (12 bed) is surrounded by the olive groves and the chestnut and oak woods on the hills at the foot of the Apuan Alps and faces the magnificent panorama of the Versilia coast and of the Gulf of Portovenere. Close to the villa stands an ancient castle that once belonged to the Malaspina family, whereas the most famous Versilia and Ligurian seaside resorts - Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Lerici and Portofino - are within easy car distance. The interiors of the villa are plastered in the traditional soft colours that characterise all Tuscan houses. All rooms are terracotta-tiled and have beamed ceilings; a series of ancient prints decorate the walls. The patio is furnished with an outdoor table and elegant rattan outdoor armchairs. The swimming pool with Jacuzzi is situated in an olive grove near the patio, looking onto the valley below and the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the distance. The villa is provided with all comforts (satellite TV, sauna, Jacuzzi, Internet connection, CD player, barbecue equipment, ceiling fans in every room, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer). Possibility of organising guided tours in the neighbourhood.
The rooms of the villa (6 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms) spread out over four storeys connected with an internal staircase and a lift. On the first floor there are a dining room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, sauna room with Jacuzzi, wine cellar, 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower accessed from the exterior and 1 bathroom. On the first floor there are a living room with fireplace, satellite TV and panoramic window and 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower and on the third floor there is 1 bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. The two beds can be joined upon request.
