The Museum of Natural History occupies several buildings of the University of Florence. The Museum of Natural History consists of the Museo Nazionale di Antropologia e Etnologia (Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology), the Museo di Geologia e Paleontologia (Geology and Paleonthology Museum), the Museo di Mineralogia e Litologia (Mineralogy and Lithology Museum), the Museo Zoologico "La Specola" ("La Specola" Zoological Museum)and the Botanical Gardens.
