Florence - San Lorenzo and its Neighbourhood: the Mercato Centrale in San Lorenzo
Florence central fruit and vegetable market was built in 1874. The interior is full of stands displaying the colourful goods on sale. Numerous stands surround the building, selling any kind of products:
leather goods, food, bags, clothes...
In the evening, the stands are removed and lots of Florentines and foreigners crowd the many cafés and restaurants in the streets around the market.
